BIRTHDAY DINNER

Had a great, quiet and enjoyable time with Mel last nite (Thank you, baby - u r da bestest). She brought me to Tamarind Springs. Really nice atmosphere. The food was pretty good and service not too bad. The bill? RM 190 plus tax. What we had:

1. Tamarind Appetizer Selection
2. Lobsters (nice!!!)
3. Lamb with vege
4. Eggplant
5. Steam Jasmine Rice
6. Ice Lemon Tea and Earl Grey

Sorry couldnt give a better description... 'cause I can't remember the exact details of each item.... but it was a real good 2 hours spent alone.

It was great because it was the first time for both of us. Initially not sure were the place was but I could say it was good marketing... because the entrance from the main road had no signage ... just a very siamese temple like entrance... cool.

Another year gone by. Another year to look forward to. 'Nuff said.

BIRTHDAY PRESENTS FOR MYSELF

Haha.... I know God loves me. Ever had those days when you really felt that He really is there for you....

Well today was my birthday, not big deal... but its REALLY nice that some friends remembered even though and I never remember theirs.... got a buncha smses, e-cards, etc.

Anyway apart from gifts and stuff from loved ones and friends, I got some "indirect" gifts today..... Well, I got my new Direct Access credit card sent to the office... its nice that it arrived today.... And also, got this piece of editing software I have been hunting high and low for.... actually my friend came to me and asked me if I could get hold of CD covers... to show me a sample he brought this CD and inside was ... THE SOFTWARE I WAS LOOKING FOR.... cool...

Looking forward to a nice dinner and time with Mel and my parents this evening.

Thanks, God for today and saving me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIT

A belated birthday Kit.
A SUNDAY LIKE ANY OTHER EXCEPT WE WENT TO CHURCH

Yes, as expected we all went to church. Maybe it was the DVD, maybe it was the Holy Spirit, maybe it was both. Whatever it is, it felt good going back to church. Kit was there too, sitting next to Sue Ann.

Had lunch in Cheras before headint to Kit's place and then back to my place. Had no house keys so Kit, Mel and I were waiting for my parents.

As usual - evening was futsal time.... and did some graphics work at nite. That's about it.
A DAY AT TIMES SQUARE (????!!!!???)

Yes, Mel and I dont like Times Square. I am the one always excited about any new place in the city and my initial excitement concerning Times Square eventually turned to dissapointment when no real branded shops came about. Only DEBENHAMS, and on Saturday there was a DEBENHAMS sale. Great. Mel got me a pre-birthday gift, a nice pay of working shoes that were very Camper-like. And then she bought herself 2 very nice skirts at some shops.

For 2 people who dont really like the place, we sure spent the entire day there. Anyway, the top floors are still very empty, and WHERE AND WHEN IS THE IMAX CINEMA coming? It's been too long a wait. Anyway, you can check out the cool view of the old Pudu prison from some of the empty lots.

Just before we left, we bought some DVDs. Got a bootleg of The Passion of The Christ.... I know it's gonna be banned here, and the cinema copy was acceptable for RM7. DVCams make good cinema copies, nowadays....

Spend the night watching it and the movie really hit all of us. Yes, Jesus suffered badly and this movie is as real to the real event of the crucifixion. I for one, have been hoping for a movie like this for years since I became a Christian in high school and its finally here. Yes I guess its going to be a life changing film.
